congress= greed

 congress this week has once again proved it is not here for the poor or middle class.it cut services vital to both.but what is inexcusable,and vile, is them cutting food stamps.and i know ,a lot of you reading this have been feed the line demonizing the poor.but,congress is the reason all the jobs moved overseas.we are hovering near record unemployment.and according to stats,more Americans than ever are going hungry.and yet,this congress cut a big chunk out of food stamps.this well off,spoiled congressmen should be fired.they are holding Americas middle class hostage,driving them in to poverty and then telling them,it`s your fault
  then here comes the slimy,sneaking,party of the rich,saying we will defund obamacare,or we will shut down the economy.this has been there plan all along.weaken the economy so bad that it fails where they can install a king.they wanted to use emergency powers to keep bush in,but they knew if they did it would start a civil war.now,fast forward and going on six years boehner has kept this congress from doing anything.he has had the government in sequester for seven months,and now he wants to shut it down.mr.president.,stand up and fight for universal health care.it is badly needed.do not allow the rich to brain wash americans with their lies.i hope one day Americans wake up and realize the gop has gone power crazy and they want to make this country a dictatorship.

NSA and the law

 We have all have been hearing how the nsa is spying on us.and how eric snowden is supposed to be a big whistleblower.
  So here is my view...the nsa domestic spying program is a violation of our constitutional rights.we have the right to privacy.we have the right to unreasonable search and seizure.and yet,the nsa is listening to everything we say and do.i have had people say that it is being overblown by the media.but,i say if anything,it is being covered up.that it is actually worse than we are being told.then,we find out about how it is being used by the dea...well,that means to me it is being used by the fbi,atf and others.so,in other words every law enforcement agency there is.then there is the argument that there is these courts who enforce privacy....well,snowden proved they do not.if they enforced privacy and rules,how did a contractor get all that info?and who else has info?and what is stopping them from using it to blackmail or sell this information?we know it ignores court orders...so is there any limits to this program?is this program above the law?is this the modern version of the ss?
 As for snowden.....i do not see him as a whistle blower.he was a contractor who stole personal information and stole secret documents from the government.and he is nothing more than a spy.and here is why i feel that way. we already had knowledge of what the nsa was doing.we already knew they spied on us.so,what did he leak?secret documents on the U.S.intelligence.and where did he go ?to china,russia.both have the worst human rights records of any nation.in russia they have open season on gays.gays are being killed just for being gay.if he was a patriot,he would have leaked something to show how the nsa was breaking the rights of Americans,not national secrets.

racism.the myth and rality.the trayvon martin aftermath.

  The truth is racism exist in every race on earth.it has been with us since the first men of different color saw each other.the trayvon martin trial has been used by some,to inflame racial tensions.while others,including me,have tried to point out racism is in many forms.and that yes,Zimmerman is morally guilty.but,legally he is not.the stand your ground law gave him immunity.there are some who are "protesting"the travesty they feel done in this case and using it to commit racial violence.there have been black on white attacks,and black on Hispanic.and all this does is reinforce the tea party.and loses focus on the task at hand,repealing these stand your ground laws.they are nothing more than a license to kill laws.we need to recognize racism.and allow it and those who believe in it to go the way of the past.until we are able to see each other and not the past or skin color,we are never going to be able to move on.the fact is by saying that racism exist in all races got me called a racist.but,i do not care.the truth is the truth.and the truth is...i do not know what happened the night trayvon was killed.but morally,i feel Zimmerman is in some form guilty.but i do not condone using this as an excuse to commit violence against others.i can understand where the black anger comes from.but,not all whites are racist.and in fact,there were whites who gave their life during the civil rights movement.they marched with dr.king.and even now,there are whites standing up against this travesty.but,when we pass laws,we should look to see if it is really necessary.maybe,just maybe,if there had not been a stand your ground law,Zimmerman would be in jail.

Our obligation to the future

 So,what is our obligation?seems silly to some.but,in order for our society to survive,we need to think.what we have done in the past,with racism,war,and intolerance has poisoned the future for a while.look how long it has took just to get where we are today.and it took people who were not minorities to stand with those oppressed,to change.and,even worse,it took the lives of visionaries.such as John F.Kennedy,Robert Kennedy,Abraham Lincoln and Martin Luther King.and yet,we still are not there.the barbarous notion one race is superior in our time is foolish.and it comes with a heavy price.look at the crusades,ww2.look at the genocide.and know the cross of homicide.we all are stained with blood.until we look at the ghost of these people who believed they were superior and say begone,no more will you hurt anyone.
  But,that is only one problem.look at our planet.it is poisoned beyond repair.our descendants will have this burden to bear.and it will be harsh.we think we know what it will be like.but the truth is,we really have no idea.we must find a way to repair the damage we have done.but,what are we doing?we are allowing the very ones who helped destroy this world continue to do so.even though we know its toll in the future is incredible.we want what we want.but,to survive,we need to start thinking long term.past our lives,past our children`s and their children`s.we need to start going back out there,to the stars.and we need to get serious.this planet is doomed.we can not save it.and to save our society,we must start thinking about our obligations to the future.start really finding a way to educate better.fund education,and make higher education easier for those who can not afford it.
 and lastly.we owe it to our future to help societies in our world who are struggling.to make them secure.and to help teach them.not dictate to them,help and teach.then we have a greater chance of surviving the future

why we need to repeal the patriot act now!

 today  the u.s woke up to the sudden realization that the nsa has been spying on every American for seven years.and,as to be expected republicans immediately blamed Obama.to which i say...really?yes,he shares the blame,he could have tried to repeal it,but somehow i do not think it would have got through congress.it was George w bush who in his cloak as dictator in chief who got his party bosses to guarantee it passed.it never should have been allowed.and it should not be allowed to continue.it is a gross abuse of power.the worst kind ...this is not acceptable and is not a part of a democracy.senators came forth saying its ok...but why should i believe them?they are part of the damn problem.they no longer see this country as a democracy,just a place for the wealthy.they spy on us,read our e-mail,and yes listen to our conversations.i do not believe the nsa would have done what it did without listening in on our calls.and a organization with no one watching it is going to abuse what ever power it has,it happens every time...absolute power corrupts absolutely.

what we in the u.s should learn from the eurozone crises.

 This week,the euro stats told the story of what austerity has done...the euro zone unemployment rate has hit a all time record of 12.2 %now,that may not sound like a big problem,but dig deeper.Greece has unemployment for young adults at nearly 40%,and in other parts of Europe it is 25%austerity has killed the euro zone.anyone with logic can see a growing political,social,and economic division between the parties.one one hand you have France and Germany who have ruled with an iron fist and in doing so,caused the near collapse of the euro zone.then Brittan,who are also beginning to feel the effects.the euro zone is not likely to recover any time soon.and that means those with power,Germany,France,u.k.will be able to use money to control those in trouble.but,this may end up tearing the euro zone apart.we in the u.s need to learn.a balanced budget is a good idea.but,there are times when the government should be allowed to spend money to create jobs and stimulate the economy.if we had done what Europe has done,we would have seen our economy implode.so lesson-the government is not like a household.it does need to run a debt in crises to keep stability.
